General Information
Battle system, classes, elements, time traits, and memory pieces. Based on closed beta — some details may change at final release.
Team Composition
Your team consists of six members:
1 Adventurer
Your main character — always present on the battlefield.
2 Battle Partners
Active on the battlefield alongside your Adventurer.
2 Assist Partners
Off-field — their stats boost the active team.
1 Monster Partner
Provides a bonus at the start of battle and extra active skills.
Assist Partner Bonus
A portion of Assist Partners' ATK, DEF, and HP is converted into bonus stats for your active team.
Visible Units
Only the Adventurer and 2 Battle Partners are visible on the battlefield, but you control abilities for the whole team.
Key Attributes
Role
Defines a character's function — Attacker, Defender, Supporter, or Debuffer.

Elemental Advantage
Using the correct element against an enemy increases damage dealt.
Time Trait
Matching the correct time trait (Daylight, Midnight, Twilight) grants bonus base stats.
Skill Points (SP)
Most abilities cost SP to use. SP is generated during battle in several ways, including a special gauge called Overdrive.
- → Frontline characters (e.g. Soul) regenerate SP through basic attacks
- → Backline characters (e.g. Dora) can trigger automatic actions under certain conditions
- → Some characters (Iris, Nutty, Hunter K, Sion, Rak) have SP Recovery effects
Break
Many enemies have a bar below their HP. When fully depleted, you trigger Break:
- ★ The Adventurer performs a special attack
- ★ The enemy becomes defenceless
- ★ All damage taken is significantly increased
- → This is the ideal moment to use your strongest abilities
Chain Multiplier
Using the correct element boosts the chain multiplier. Every hit permanently increases damage for that stage.
+22%
Per hit with Chain Mastery
Multi-Hit
Multi-hit skills stack chain bonus very quickly
